The robot is provided with an impact device, abrasion system, heater device and a complex artificial vision software and cameras.
Using all the applications at the same time allows us to simulate the real conditions and diversity of materials performance.
Thanks to that we can investigate and improve the design of our belts carcass and adapt the formulations of our rubber compounds to our customer real applications or materials.
The material and conditions of the conveyor belts are changing. They are becoming more abrasive and sharper, leading with high impacts conditions. Plants are increasing capacities and becoming more demanding over the life of the belts so it implies improvements of the compounds. All that forces us to try to get ahead of the customer to simulate such heavy conditions on the new real testing robot.
We are the only conveyor belt manufacturer that has such a complete continuous dynamic testing robot. The project has been developed by our R&D and Laboratory team with the collaboration of a national technology center, Aimen.
