Many maintenance managers or conveyor belt procurement managers do not know if the type of conveyor belt installed is adequate for their installation, material and transported flow. To solve this, Kauman has a specific belt calculation software that allows us to accurately calculate the belt type (engines, tensions, drums, tensor weight, speeds, flows, etc.) for each conveyor.

The software is a static and dynamic analysis application that allows us to enter all the geometric data and components of the conveyor. With these data we obtain a precise and safe calculation of the type of belt and its ideal working conditions.

The result is the definition of the right conveyor belt (type of reinforcement, resistance, coverings, troughs, maximum stresses etc.) and a list of data in harmony with the main variables of the installation (engine power, speed, conveyed flow, percentage load, tensor weight, etc.).

2. PROJECTS: advice on conveyor belt projects:

Our clients seek advice when designing and sizing a conveyor belt application. Many times, we find applications that have not defined the ideal type of conveyor belt to be installed. Kauman can analyse your needs and offer a reliable and suitable project. Our technical department, which has operated in more than 50 countries and with all types of conveyor belts around the world, will be able to analyse and deliver:

3. POST-SALES SUPPORT AND AUDIT:

Based on our experience, many of the problems conveyor belts experience are caused by poor maintenance of the installation or by conveyor components that are not compatible with the conveyor belt.

In many cases, stopping a conveyor means the complete shutdown of a plant. To avoid these critical situations, Kauman proposes to carry out internal audits in which all plant or mine transport systems are fully analysed, with the main objective of locating critical points (fugitive material, drums, bibs, vibrations, rollers, flows, discharges etc.), reducing downtime, and avoiding unexpected tear or wear.

These audits consist of calibrating all the transport systems and then creating a complete report on the condition of the conveyor belts and the critical points of the conveyor.
