Kaurigid
KAUROUGH belts are suitable for carrying manufactured products, baggage, parcels, sacks etc. both horizontally and inclined. Its rough surface gives it a great coefficient of friction with the product carried, and absorbs any possible impact or vibration.
Characteristics of the carcass
These belts can be made in different qualities, as follows: XE+TR. Designed with EP fabric layers and 1 or 2 layers of transversally rigid fabric. Recommended for uses with medium weight.
XE+TRS. Designed with EP fabric layers and 1 or 2 steel breaker layers that are transversally rigid (generally BF500RE or BF800RE). Recommended for uses with heavy weight and large widths. XM+TRS. Designed with a steel carcass and 1 or 2 steel breaker layers that are transversally rigid (generally BF500RE or BF800RE). Recommended for severe uses, with great carrying capacity and significant dimensions.
The belts are made in standard quality, and on request can be made in special qualities (antiflame, antioil, white and others). The edges can be cut or sealed.
These belts are mainly used in facilities with steep slopes, up to 90ยบ, in diverse sectors such as mining, port facilities and ship to ship loading,
- quarries, silos, iron and steel, airports, ceramics and gypsum.
- They are also used for various applications such as lifting boats in amusement parks.
