KAUMAN COMPOUNDS
At Kauman, we develop specific compounds to optimize the performance of conveyor belts under all types of conditions and for transporting all types of materials, with two main priorities: efficiency and safety.

NoFlame
NoFlame is a range of compounds specifically designed to prevent the spread of accidental fire, thus protecting facilities and the people who work in them.
This type of compound is crucial for certain tasks such as the transportation of coal or other materials at over 100 degrees Celsius. We especially recommend NoFlame covers for underground mining.

Oil and grease resistant.
Our oil and grease-resistant compounds are ideal for transporting solid materials that may contain oils or fats of animal or vegetable origin, such as fertilizers.

Compounds for the food sector.
Kauman specializes in the food industry. That is why its Kaufood food-grade belt complies with the highest FDA food quality standards and uses specific covers for food transportation.

Temperature-resistant
Temperature-resistant compounds. Kauhot.
Kauman leverages innovation to develop proprietary compounds so its belts can transport materials at very high temperatures.
The Kauhot T15, T18, and T20 compound ranges by Kauman are fully guaranteed for material temperatures up to 225°C. These conditions are very frequent when the hot material exits the clinker towards the silos in cement plants.
On the other hand, Kauman belts are also designed to withstand cold. Compounds with grade R quality allow temperatures as low as -40°C.

Abrasion-resistant compounds
One of the main challenges in the conveyor belt industry is abrasion resistance. Wear due to abrasion is the most decisive factor in the durability of a conveyor belt. For this reason, Kauman belts feature the best anti-abrasion qualities according to the European DIN22102 standards.

Cut-resistant. AntiCut (AC).
Kauman has developed an anti-cut rubber compound ideal for processes such as material extraction in cement plants, where cuts and tears in belts are very frequent.
The tear resistance of the compound is a minimum of 25 MPa, and the abrasion specifications are a minimum of 110 mm³, resulting in an extremely cut-resistant rubber compound that also provides good abrasion resistance. The AC cover compound can be incorporated into any of our textile or steel-cord belts.
