EXPERIENCE, SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY

KAUMAN has been working in the mining sector for over 30 years as one of its main priorities. Our lengthy experience enables us to provide a quality product which fulfils its purpose in different mining facilities.

EXPERIENCE OF +30 YEARS

Mining

Mining has been one of our main priorities for over 30 years. Our products are adapted to the sector and its prevailing conditions. Our mission in mines is satisfy our clients in a formal and rigorous manner paying special attention to the efficacy and duration of our conveyor belts, without forgetting the safety of both the facilities and the people working in them.

We are aware that mining is tough and demanding – we cannot change this but we can contribute to making it much safer. Our lengthy experience means we are specialists in the sector and this is evident in the quality, duration and efficacy of our products.

Kauman products are the result of the best materials subjected to the strictest and most demanding methods of manufacturing. Some recent studies confirm that the useful life of our belts is almost double that of our competitors. For all these reasons we can say about our conveyor belts: If they are KAUMAN belts, they are much safer.

RECOMMENDED CONVEYOR BELTS

Kausteel

KAUSTEEL belts are the perfect solution for covering long distances, bearing high tension and conveying heavier loads. Given their reduced elongation (close to 0.3%) and high resistance to impact, KAUSTEEL is ideal for an installation measuring several kilometres.

The threads of the warp cords are galvanized and totally saturated in rubber. Cords woven to the left and to the right are alternated in order to guarantee the belt’s straight travel. Transversal rigidity is obtained from the rubber, and as it is more flexible than the fabric used to manufacture.

Kaustrong

KAUSTRONG is a conveyor belt that is highly resistant to breakage, impact and longitudinal cuts; it is high-resistance belt.

The fibers that form the skeleton of this belt withstand impacts better than conventional belts (multilayer), with a resistance of up to 3 times more. This leads to greater load support that considerably reduces the risk of damage to the belt. It can safely transport products such as large rocks, logs, minerals, etc. The above makes the KAUSTRONG belt the best choice for the most severe working conditions.

Kaupipe

Textile conveyor belts are the most commonly used. They are made up of several layers of rubberized fabrics, covered by layers of rubber of the desired thickness and quality depending on the work to be carried out and the type of material to be transported.

Kaufort

KAUFORT conveyor belts with an Aramid carcass compete directly with steel cord belts as their characteristics are similar in mechanical resistance and elongation. Their advantage is that their resistance to impact is greater (similar to that of the KAUFLEXsteel mesh), and they are more resistant to longitudinal tearing, humidity and aggressive chemical agents in general. They are also lighter and more flexible than “ST” steel belts with the same resistance, and so they reduce electricity consumption and the pulley diameter is smaller in operation.

Coverkau

COVERKAU belts are used to protect a carrying element placed below the belt. Its protective function is due to its extraordinarily rigid weft, facilitating the loading and unloading of the element carried underneath thanks to its excellent longitudinal flexibility.
